The Challenge

Work is scattered across email, rigid project management tools and chat: and the context that connects it all lives only in people's heads. Optevo set out to fix that by keeping the whole picture together: the task, the conversation about it, the files it referenced and the people involved, in one place. On top of that structure, they wanted AI assistance that could actually help: grounded in the team's real context rather than guessing from generic text.

What We Built

Agentic Giants is the engineering partner behind Optevo's platform: a hybrid workspace built around WorkPods: shared spaces that unite tasks, threaded conversations, files and notes in a single context. Instead of stitching together five disconnected tools, a team works in one space where the connections between their work are preserved, and an AI layer assists on top of that context.

Deep dive: 10 MCP servers

Context aware AI is only as good as the tools it can safely reach. Rather than wire the model directly into Optevo's systems, we built 10 production Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers that expose WorkPod context: tasks, threads, files and decisions, to the AI layer as a governed, permission aware set of tools. Each server has a clear scope and owner, honours the same permissions a person would have, and never gives the model raw, open ended access to the underlying data. That is what lets the assistant act on real work while staying inside the guardrails.

Optevo is live at optevo.com , a production hybrid workspace used by a distributed team, framed by its founders as “the new nexus of work.” Agentic Giants continues as the senior engineering partner behind the product.
